The Office of International Services (OIS) provides immigration-related services for international visitors, students, faculty, researchers, and staff at the University of Pittsburgh.  As you explore our website, please note that the University of Pittsburgh operates five campuses throughout Western Pennsylvania:

In general, the information we are presenting applies to the whole University, regardless of location. However, there will be times when we will refer you to a specific campus.

Prospective Students
Thank you for your interest in the University of Pittsburgh! Below you will find links to the relevant offices that handle admissions for undergraduate and graduate students. Once you have been accepted to your program, you will get more information about attending the university as an international student. New Students
Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Pittsburgh! Within a few weeks of you confirming your acceptance to the university, OIS will email you to start the process of getting your immigration documents to attend Pitt.  If you have already confirmed your acceptance and have not received your OIS email, please contact your admissions administrator from your school to assist you.

New Scholars
Congratulations on joining the University of Pittsburgh! Once OIS has all of your information from your sponsoring department, you will soon begin to receive emails from OIS on how to access the Pre-Arrival and Orientation Checklist. This Checklist will assist you in your travel preparations. If you have not yet received an email from OIS, please contact your department to see if they need any additional information.
